Accounting Clerk I

Min. 1 Yr. financial clerical experience including the operation of bookkeeping, calculating machines, and/or computerized accounting equipment and software. Processing of student bus passes and time sheet data entry. Type 50 wpm. Must submit typing certificate obtained within last 6 months. Salary Range $2090.92 to $2541.53/mo., 12 month employee. FIELD TRIPS

Antelope Valley Schools Transporation Agency provides field trip buses for over 50 schools in the Antelope Valley. AVSTA averages 3,000 trips per school year. Through the years we have driven from the Antelope Valley to San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix Arizona and as far north as Stockton California. Anywhere from one to thirty buses may be used in a single field trip.

AVSTA drivers must attend special classes in order to be qualified to drive on field trips. The class includes a written test as well as a driving test out of town.

Charter Bus Companies are untilized on field trips when needed.

 

 



 

Field Trip Requests

We provide transportation for field trips for multiple School Districts. Because each District has a unique set of procedures used for requesting and approving trips, a set of guidelines has been establised which allows AVSTA to better administer field trip requests.
